I finally delivered the album yesterday after much delay. Seems like the courier services got checked on route from KL. It took them a while to sort our my parcel and cleared the custom. Thanks for the wait Jim & Dominica. Hope the wait was worth while. :-)
I can finally post the images of their intimate wedding which I enjoyed the most. Lunch reception…I really enjoyed it…with plentiful of time to rest after that. :-P
When both combined…it’s really a pleasure. Saw this picture while laying out their album. Ops! Got some back log to settle…been busy with work and just returned from Shanghai trip. Pardon me for the delay but its in good hand. :-)
A really fun wedding to shoot. Images should be released once the couple receive their album. Just a sneak on a group picture that includes me…hahaha! Happy Easter Day people!
I was looking forward to this shoot as they have promised that the make up will not start till 8am. That is hardly the case these days which is a good thing for me as I have more time to sleep..haha…I even got a seat within the VIP table and enjoyed some neat dinner in between my shoot! Totally unexpected.
Thank you once again and Congrats…George and Linda!
Weekend is over in just a wink and things seems so fast forward these days.
Took a break today from editing and attend the opening of 3 Inch Sin, an awesome hideout that serves molten cakes. If you have facebook (who doesn’t these days!:-p), I suggest you become a fan(click here) for their latest updates. They are located at 501 Bukit Timah Road Cluny Court Unit 02-27.
“Love is a journey….long yet meaningful if I have you walk along with me”…this picture below seems to tell me this…
You are the sunshine of my life…that’s why I will always be around…
Its mid week and I am looking forward to another shoot this weekend. It seems that the week passes by pretty fast these days. Its back to back meetings for me and things have been picking up in the office…lots of projects. Busy is a good thing…it fuels me and keeps me going. Hope you feel the same way too!
Took a break from editing. One of my favorite picture of Jim. When I showed him an earlier picture, he commented that he looked like a challenger from Survivor. Hmm…this could probably be a shot for “The Apprentice”. How nice if he was in suit. :-)
Was at my usual breakfast joint today while waiting for Vera to finish her class. This young boy seated right in front of me tried to put in extra dark sauce for his soft boiled egg while his father shouted non stop, “Noooooo….Noooo!” He went ahead anyway and justified that the egg has no taste… I wonder why the father didn’t even bother to taste it before shouting… jumping to conclusion is so common with parents. I am guilty at times…sigh…parenthood!
Jim is from England, Dominica…from Jakarta…they met while Jim was working in Indonesia back then. He has been in Singapore over the last 3 years and the relationship has been going strong through these times. I call them…Love Without borders. Happy Belated Birthday Jim!
An awesome wedding I shot in January 2010. It was my first for the year and a merry one. There was just so much love, the atmosphere was electrifying yet romantic. This will always be a memorable weddings for me. Hope you will enjoy this slide show as much as I enjoyed shooting on location that day.
This is my 2nd year as an official oiler (I doubt if there is a better term for this). My role, as an oiler is to ensure that the competitor gets an even color tone when they are on stage. I am helping my youngest brother as part of his annual competition routine, in this event “Muscle and Fitness War”.
Gym became an event where the 3 of us are knitted together. We meet each other almost everyday to work out and that became a routine. As I no longer stays with them, I guess this became important for us to catch up and not lose touch in each other’s life (as well as to gather the latest gossip at home).
It just seems like yesterday where we were still playing hide and seek in our old Hougang residence, a place where it holds a lot of memories for me and I believe to my brothers as well.
They were a sunshine kid then. I remembered how I accompanied them to their annual school performance event over at Macpherson Library. Looking at them then and looking at them now provides me with the same pride and joy. Perhaps that was why I felt a sense of joy when Benson’s name was called and he walked up on stage with his head held high. I was proud of his achievement, never mind the fact that he came in 5th overall in his category. To me, that moment of making everyone in the family proud was priceless and he tried his very best.
Being able to be there, to share those special moments is a bliss. Something that you cannot ask for more and I am glad to be a part of it. Thank you brothers…for always being there…in a way or another.
